David's Presentation on Place Branding and Partnership
For the past year, the Downtown Raleigh Alliance has been working on a new way to promote downtown Raleigh through place-branding and partnerships. We realized early on that we had to do something new to distinguish ourselves during an era of media overload. Some downtowns use heritage, culture, environment, and geography; others use symbols like sports teams and themes. David's presentation aims to offer some fresh ideas and successful strategies on attracting people to downtown and keeping the ones we have. The Downtown Raleigh Alliance recently changed their website and collateral materials to reflect their new tagline, You-R-Here, to execute the branding campaign.
